Memories Matter

"I am a breast cancer patient and this has been a tough journey. My battle isn't over but I'm fighting and people like Stanton Standards make it easier."
Meet Yvonne, Mother & Grandmother
The effects of the global pandemic have been far-reaching and while many of us struggle to re-learn everyday behaviors--how to grocery shop, how to socialize, how to work--there are those among us are striving to meet these tasks while fighting their own health challenges as well. In January 2021, we were fortunate to meet Ms. Yvonne, a mother and grandmother who has been combatting breast cancer. Our team surprised Ms. Yvonne with a custom-made gift basket full of products and gift cards tailored to her needs and preferences. While adhering to health and safety guidelines, we were able to create a lasting memory of those who are all cheering her on during this journey. Ms. Yvonne shared her appreciation below:
"When I unexpectedly received a gift basket from Stanton Standards, I was overwhelmed with the love and support. I am a breast cancer patient and this has been a tough journey. I am so happy and grateful that there are still good people out there who are willing to help. I was in tears because this was one of the kindest things I've ever seen. I didn't have the funds to get all of the things I need, because of all of the extra expenses for my treatment. I will never forget what was done for me on that Saturday afternoon. My battle isn't over, but I'm fighting and people like Stanton Standards make it easier. God bless you all."
Thanks to her loved ones, Stanton Standards was able to demonstrate support in a way that was specific to Yvonne and her family. We also share appreciation for those who help make these memories possible through support for the organization.
